The Landrain housing estate is situated in the northern residential zone of Halle where detached houses and garden allotments determine the overall picture. You can reach the inner city, the main railway station and the university quickly by bicycle or by public transport.
Architecturally the Max Kade house fits well into the attractive housing estate and is shaped by two different trademarks in student hall construction which are worth seeing. The architects? ideas ranging from the rainwater canal with reeds to the landscaping of roofs and the creation of meeting areas have been masterfully turned into reality.
