The Max Kade house is situated directly next to the “Englischer Garten” in the north of Munich in the Freimann district, which, with over 2500 places in halls, is the biggest student colony in Germany.

Description and characteristics:
Special features: the “student city” of Freimann has been an international meeting place since 1963. International tutor events are held here regularly too. Participants in the exchange programs of the partner organisations are put up here. The Studentenstadt-Spectaculum, StuStaCulum for short, a “student city” spectacular, has been taking place since 1989 – an international arts and music festival. Participants of the "Junior Year" ("Wayn State", "Lewis & Clark") are put up in the student city.
